Is it a fashion faux-pas to wear preppy moccasins during the summer? Or are they only a fall/winter thing? - summer moccasins

I have a pair of brown and a pair of moccasins in pink to Lands End. I do not know whether to use it in order, in the summer, according to the rules of fashion? Does it matter?
