I met a lot of gray (gray-chips, specifically), and all except one died of cancer. The blind does not get cancer.
Sunsheet help sunscreen. Keep (the poor, even if not every day in summer you can look at the night shift, as it is cooler) for him. Make sure that you and your veterinarian will focus on the detailed inspection of knots and blemishes which could be problematic. Ask your veterinarian if you are unsure what to look and hard!
Some advice do not buy: a horse based on color. You want a good horse, good physique, health beahvior well and good. If you have a mold that all these things and that is the best horse suited to your needs, by all means, or isone is the horse you buy should. If you are a beautiful brunette who best fits your needs and see personality, should seek instead.
Melanomas are relatively common tumors of the skin cells that produce melanin. They are especially common in gray horses, and often cause no problems. However, there is always the danger that the masses do not become cancerous.
The reason for this is not always clear, but it is usually associated with a weakened immune system of the horse. The tumor cells of all types of abnormal cells and the body naturally tries to destroy them, but often not strong enough to make it fast.
The maintenance of a horse as healthy as possible helps to a strong immune system. The food is the most important factor, but I am afraid that the horse has provided power for a strong immune system, the nature, is not that simple. A natural diet is a great Grazing-area with access to a variety of different plants in different soil types.
In a complete artificial environment, we have the horses grazing with concentrates and supplements known to boost the immune system to defects that exist in your diet to compensate.
For long-term supplement, I recommend a good complement of vitamins and minerals for a little more algae for a few months each year and use formulas will be calculated on selected plants.
I would of Echinacea Hat-based products because they are not suitable for long-term support of the immune system and is used best when specific infections are known in the vicinity or have begun to cause problems.
